My five month old is super hyper, is this normal?

I have a five month old baby girl. She has started to flip over and she creeps. She just learned how to use her hands and already she is grabbing at everything and putting it in her mouth. The thing is that she goes for something and then gets sidetracked by something else and then gets super duper excited about something across the room. When I put her in the play pen for some alone time and to bat at her toys, she has a blast. But eventually she starts screaming at toys and grunting like she is mad at them. I mean, it is hilarious, but I'm wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone else.
