History discussion: do you think it was actually Hitler who killed president Hindenburg?

You're forgetting that it was Hindenburg who appointed Hitler as Chancellor in 1933. In fact, Hindenburg was very supportive of Nazi policies and, among other things, suspended civil liberties. I don't see why Hitler would kill someone like that. Besides, the guy was something like 87 at the time of his death. It was most likely old age.
