Can I bath my hamsters?

Well me and my younger sister bathe ours for 5 years until she died last year of old age. RIP Cookie. But we bathe her in the bathroom sick with hamster shampoo and in very very very low water level. She was clean and always healthy. Also make sure the water isn't too hot. Make it luke warm. Roxy explains it better then me.
