If you are cleaning out storage in Vegas, best way to sell it and get what it is worth?

I have some stuff I need to clean out in Vegas. What is the best method for getting what it is worth - some will be donated to goodwill but lots of small but good items. Ebay means shipping costs, pawn shops are horrible, etc. Do not own a house there so forget a "yard sale". Other than ebay, what can one do? And if you have to go through the expense of getting something appraised (which I doubt), which is best for more expensive items? Real suggestions only please. Thanks.
