Does this sound a bit cliched?

With the whole summery, its not cliched, but the details like discovering you were adopted are a bit cliched. I have heard stories like this one, in fact, I am reading one right now about a girl who's mom dies, and she's trying to search for her real mother and father, her adopted dad left her when she was a baby... So yeah... Try to spice it up and add some origonal ideas. Good luck!
