you already showed him that you like him, don't overdo it , so let him ask you out. he does not look shy to me at all, give him time,and even the guys who are shy will come forward if they like you, so don't rush. he likes you, but if you start pushing for more, he might stop liking you :) and also think how would that affect your children. he will come to you if he wants more :)
